Private Sessions

  • Meet with my one on one to develop a personalized plan to address your specific concerns, needs, and goals. You will be given individualized classes to do on your own at home between private sessions.

  • $131.25 for the intake session and the personalized plan. Then, follow up sessions are $100. You can pay with an HSA, debit, or credit card.

  • Schedule a free consultation through the self-scheduling feature on this website or by contacting me through the contact page. This will serve as a way for us to determine if you are a good candidate for somatic yoga and if we are a good fit for each other.

Class Series / Small Group Retreats

  • Small group retreats and somatic yoga workshops can be tailored to your unique needs and interests. They can be based on a variety of topics such as a basic intro to somatic yoga series, understanding your body's stress response, pelvic floor health, functional breathing, and so much more! Contact to inquire about setting up a unique workshop or retreat for your small group!

  • Cost will be based on the length of the workshop, number of classes in a series, and/or number of attendees. Please contact to inquire for more information on pricing.

I will be offering workshops from my location in Mankato and virtually. Those workshops will be posted on the website and social media when they are scheduled to occur.

  • Reach out to me through my contact page to inquire about scheduling a retreat or workshop series for your small group. Workshops that I will be hosting from my office in Mankato will be posted here and on my social media pages.

Group Classes

  • Throughout the year I will be teaching group classes at various locations in and around Mankato, Mn and may offer virtual attendance for some classes. The class schedule will be posted on the website and shared on social media when the classes are scheduled to occur.

  • Pricing will be based on the location due to varying costs for renting space, but you can expect a typical somatic yoga class to cost $15-30 per class. The classes are usually 75-90 minutes in length.

  • Due to space limitations, participants will be required to register ahead of time for somatic yoga classes. No walk-ins will be allowed. To register, select the Book Now button to pull up the booking page. Current class offerings will be listed here and on social media. If there is a time that you are consistently available, but a class is not offered at that time, please let me know. I may consider offering additional classes depending on expressed interest.

Everything you experience is a bodily experience.

Somatic yoga is a blend of neuroscience, classic yoga practices, and functional movement that builds intelligent and conscious body awareness. It releases tension patterns and retrains muscle imbalances. It regulates the nervous system, calms the mind, and strengthens the body. The blended methodology cultivates the ability to stimulate the relaxation response in the body.

Somatic yoga helps people to discover their body’s hidden reactions to acute stress and learn how their body has developed compensations overtime for their habituated stress response. It focuses on neuro-muscular retraining to undo the effects that stress, trauma, habit, and fatigue have on the body and mind. Through research it is becoming increasingly recognized and accepted that physiological disease can arise from psychological causes, such as stress and trauma. Continual arousal of the sympathetic nervous system can and will create issues through the whole being (mind, body, and soul).

The body’s reactions to stress and trauma are difficult to uncover and resolve with traditional talk therapy. Therefore, a body-focused approach is an essential part of the healing process.
